Most snowflakes are less than one-half inch across, the largest snowflake recorded was fifteen inches in diameter.

It's minus 10 degrees Celsius and snowing today. It just keeps on snowing and snowing and snowing.

Some fun facts about snow:

Scientists think that there are five different shapes of snow crystals. A long needle shape, hollow column that is shaped like a six-sided prism, thin and flat six-sided plates, six-pointed stars and intricate dendrites.

Permanent snow and ice cover about 12% (21 million square km's) of the Earth's land surface. 80% of the world's fresh water is locked up as ice or snow.

The most snow produced in a single snowstorm is 4.8 meters (15.75ft) at Mt Shasta Ski Bowl, California (USA) between 13 and 19 February 1959.

Denver CO was buried under 21.3 inches of snow, 19.4 inches of which fell in 24 hours. The heavy wet snow snapped trees and wires causing seven million dollars damage.

In Prince Edward Island, Canada, where the soil is red clay, snowflakes often look pink.

Melting (sometimes called fusion) is a physical process that results in the phase change of a substance from a solid to a liquid.

The last couple of days have been busy. Wednesday I had a coffee date with Bente at Passagen, and after that me, Andreas and his niece Zara went out on the ice on Farris, a fresh water lake located in the outskirts of Larvik.

Thursday I was at Verket, Anne Karie thought me to crochet this beautiful sunflower inspired patch. I need a bit more practice, but it's getting somewhere. Later in the evening I attended a choir practice with the choir Maria sings in, it was a lot of fun. I really liked how they warmed up, when I had singing lessons warming up was such a bore, but the conductor had an assortment of fun short song we used instead of the usual Aaaaa, Ooooo and whatnot.

Today I am still going to wear what I've been wearing for the last couple of days, I am that lazy. And I still haven't gotten my camera stand back, I need to call them today.
And as you might have noticed I've been fiddling around with my layout again, hehe, I'm getting somewhere, I like the white. Maybe I'll actually get it done in a way that makes me not want to change it within a week or so now. Maybe.
You guys have a great weekend ;)!

me⋅ow  /miˈaʊ, myaʊ/ [mee-ou, myou]. Noun - the characteristic sound a cat makes.

Today I had painting a workshop at Verket. I started a series of three small paintings featuring some swirly plant thingies. So far I have the colors all wrong, turned out that the brushes that had red bristle actually left a faint touch of red in the background, which is definitely something I don't want. I hope I can work it out next Tuesday.

At Politimesteren.

Cute kitty.

After that me and Maria spent a couple of hours at Politimesteren, I treated her to a coffee and we chatted until closing time (which is pretty early at all cafès in Larvik).
I walked her home whilst waiting for Andreas to pick me up and we met her neighbors cat who was all for some cuddling. He miaoued and ran up and down the stair in ecstatic cuddling joy. He looks a bit mad on the pictures, but he really, really wasn't. Or perhaps he was mad at me for taking pictures instead of cuddling, hehe.

What I wore:

H&M dress, Lindex scarf with a flower, Ellos jeans, vintage bag and boots, a bolero I don't know where I got and a belt from JC.

Ice is a solid phase, usually crystalline, of a non-metallic substance that is liquid or gas at room temperature.

Today I heard a Blue Tit's spring song for the first time this year. He was sitting just outside my window, eating some seed we've put out for them in the sun.

I had a photo group at Verket today, it's called a photo group because we don't really have a teacher, we're just a couple of eager souls who likes photographing.
So Heidi and Cecilie sat me down and offered me free soup and coffee for half a year if I'd just teach Heidi a bit of what I already know. Which I was planning on doing anyway, but I don't mind getting free soup and coffee for it.

After that me and Andreas went out to take some pictures, walking outside in the sun and snow is so amazing. And the sun has even started warming a bit again, after being cold for months.

Fatigue (also called exhaustion, lethargy, languidness, languor, lassitude, and listlessness) is a state of awareness.

I'm not feeling to well today.
Feels a bit like I'm really hung-over and sick with the flue, but I've had some minor clear moments ever now and then. That's CFS for you. When I lay down it feels like my body is floating outside of itself and my head feels like it's not even on my shoulders. I can't really see properly, everything get's blurry when my eyes shift from one thing to another, when I close them my head and body feels even further away. Really weird actually. But there's no joint or muscle pain, or at least so little it's not even worth mentioning, that's nice.
Now if I could only get my head to work for more than half an hour at a time that would be perfect. Maybe in a couple of days when my poor body has gotten used to the shift in day rhythm. Adjustments takes me a while.

What I wore:
(I'm awake! I swear I am! Just need some coffee!)
(Aaah, coffee, is happiness in a cup ♥)

Black dress and tree necaklce from Cubus, jeans from Ellos, beanie from H&M, pretty flower made by mom ♥, red socks from Indiska, vintage bag and boots.
