December is the twelfth and last month of the year in the Gregorian Calendar and one of seven Gregorian months with the length of 31 days.

On Black Friday me and A went to Skien to find a few Christmas decorations at Helland and Hylland Used and Antiques. We ate lunch at a quaint little cafè called Louise's in the center of Skien, drank some coffee and even ate cake, but we missed the snow and Larvik's cute street decorations.

Well home I opened my Christmas decoration holding red suitcase, put on my Santa-hat, tried to decorate Nicoline with a red ribbon, realized angry-crazy-kitten wouldn't stand for it, gave up, and started decorating the apartment instead - and such the Christmas decorating was well on it's way.
Nicoline helped, she ran around and licked the decorations that she felt needed licking, and she didn't push anything over. I'm so proud of her ♥ Before the clock struck Saturday we were (almost) all finished.

The noun "pastel" gives rise to an adjective, meaning pale in color.

It's almost time to put up the Christmas decorations! I'm so exited to this year. My first time decorating mine and A's amazingly wonderful apartment ♥
Maria taught me that I can start decorating on Black Friday, the Friday after Thanksgiving. My mother has always started First Advent, but I don't see why I shouldn't pull it a few days ahead of the usual schedule.

Today's pictures are custom notebooks (and some lace because it's pretty) made by Anne Kari at Verket, they're not done yet but I hope it's an idea she can develop. I love notebooks, and they're fun to make to so I would be more than willing to help her make them ♥

And last, but not least, a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you Americans out there :)

Gingerbread is a term used to describe a variety of sweet food products, which can range from a soft cake to something close to a ginger biscuit.

This Sunday A suddenly decided it was time for gingerbread cookies so he made huge dough, but we sadly just haven't had time to start baking yet. And today he called me and said I as allowed to start baking without him, and seeing how Maria had just come over for a visit I figured there was no reason to have to do it alone.

We listened to Christmas music, laughed and made hearts, circles and flowers. Maria even made a custom M, perfect for the occasion; Marita and Maria ♥

We split it in two and with milk gingerbread cookies haven't tasted so good since.. Well. Since lastyear I suppose

Snowflakes are conglomerations of frozen ice crystals which fall through the Earth's atmosphere.

It's snowing ♥

It's snowing ♥

I wish I could take pictures of snowflakes ♥

This weekend it's been snowing again. Powdery white covering the ground once more, and this time it very much welcomed, at least from my side, it's been such a raw cold the last couple of days, but now with the snow it's just so much more cozy. On another note I've got myself a new bag, or a backpack bag. It does both, marvelous ! I love it.

How was your weekend?

Last Saturday was this year annual Larvik Culture Night happening. In the always cold November weather me and A took the trip down to Hammerdalen, Fritzøe Verk, to look at the culture and art.
Even in the drizzling rain the good vibrations of so many people having a good time was impossible not to notice.

We had a lovely evening ♥

Leon Jungreuthmayer and band played at Cafè Fanny, and I had promised Leon I would be there to take some pictures of them. The tiny Cafê was completely crammed full of people, and it was very funny how the crowd parted when I came into the room with my camera carried high. Not that I by doing that was trying to get people to move over, I just didn't want to bump my camera into them.. Hehe.

Chaos in Greek mythology and cosmology referred to a abyss at the beginning of the world,or more generally the initial, formless state of the universe.

The snow came to us here in Larvik on Thursday, and as always it wrecked complete chaos on the roads. As many as seven cars chain-collided down Kings Street, nobody got hurt. I've made two tiny snow-men, one outside our office window, and one outside the old city-hall in Stavern. All our windows got completely covered with white, really quite claustrophobic. I sang some Christmas songs, and by Friday all the snow have melted away into slush.

Thank you, and come again soon Snow ♥
