It's funny how eye-color changes in according to the light around you, or just the color of what your wearing. When I wear gray me eyes are gray. Usually they're blue.
And it's funny how different web color profiling has so much to do for pictures, view my blog with Google Chrome or Apple Safari (but I find Chrome easier to use). I've been using Firefox for year but it does horrible things to my photographs, horrible high contrasts and off-beat colors, which is weird, because Firefox is the browser (unlike Chrome) with RGB color management. But from Photoshop to in-folder to web Chrome is just the browser that makes my pictures look like I've made them. I've always had a thing for de-saturated shades not easily distinguished from one another, sounds boring spelled out, but I don't think my photography is ♥
What browser do you use? And do you have any enlightenment for me on the subject of web color profiling?
My hair eventually ended up with a flower:

I use Firefox. I've been using Mac for many many years and I have never been a fan of Safari. I think the photo thing is not just about the browser, it has to do with the computer as well. But I'm no expert. Love image nr. 3 by the way.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a photographer and use Safari and Google Chrome. For editing, he uses Photoshop and Lightroom. He takes and edits my pictures for me so I understand. :)

ReplyDeleteKjempefine bilder! Og jeg bruker Firefox og var ikke engang klar over at bilder ser forskjellig ut i forskjellige browsere! Some geek I am...
ReplyDeleteHa en finfin helg :)
Gorgeous photos!

Great look. I love how your style is so slouchy and comfortable but still looks so put together!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
LatteLisa: Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteIndeed! I've got two computers, and the colors on the one upstairs are all wrong in Firefox (but only in Firefox mind you, strange), but on my laptop it's fine.
I probably need to calibrate my monitor, I'll try to get it done today :)
Emerald: Thank you, me too ;)
ReplyDeleteSafari and Chrome, noted :)
Barry Schwartz: I'm going to check it out, downloaded and installed, but I think I need to read a bit more about it to figure out how it works before I see results x)
ReplyDeleteSigne: Takk vennen :)
Hehe ♥
Tanya (a Taste of T): Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteAlissa: Aw, thank you :) In my mind that would certainly be something to aspire to ♥
ReplyDeleteYou look so so beautiful in these pics!! <3
ReplyDeleteI've got a new bag and I posted a photo on my blog if you want to have a look ;)xxxx
so sorry i come so late!
ReplyDeleteyes i remember you, you are very pretty! :))
im viewing your blog with Firefox and Chrome and yes i see a little difference, i think Chrome makes your pics less "saturated" (not sure if i use the right term, because i edit pics with Photoshop and theres this saturation/hue that you can adjust for your pics).
Well, ive been using Firefox (sometimes Chrome), i didnt know about this browsers thing until i read this post, so thank you for sharing the information!
Do you think the same thing happens to my drawings too????
:/
bytheway nice boots! :))
ReplyDeleteLara Kasabian: Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThe huge black one? Love it !
Sympathy for The Devil: Exactly! They're suppose to look like they look in Chrome, a bit un-saturated.
ReplyDeleteYour drawings look great in both browser so I think your safe ;)
Thank you ♥
Some interesting readings on the subject: http://insig.ht/2009/11/why-photos-look-bad-in-firefox-3-5/
ReplyDeleteSo apparently firefox 3.5 don't read V4 color profiles, and it need to read both V2 and V4 for it to work. I mean the colors. But again I'm at a loss, cus' Chrome doesn't have color profiling at all so it's supposed to be shit nut isn't x) haha.
I totally love the outfit!!The boots are awsome :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful photos...the pastel colour is so great and they have such a soft touch.Great ;)
xxx and a nice weekend
