The 15. of March, a Tuesday, was the first officiall spring day for me ♥ sunny and warm and the birds happily singing their Spring songs.. I could never get the hang of Tuesday and Thursday, I never remember which is which, language wise I mean. Haha, I usually know when it's Tirsdag and when it's Torsdag as they're called in Norwegian, or Wtorek and Czwartek in Polish (A taught me, him being half Polish). But the names in English still eludes me, Tuesday and Thursday. .
I picked a bouquet of birch branches a while ago, normally called bjørkeris here in Norway, and with the warmth and sun peaking through the windows they have started to shoot. So even if the weather have gotten pretty cold again, there's at least a bit of Spring, indoors at least.

Well, it has gotten warmer here in Estonia, it's a little above or below zero depending on the day, BUT as the amount of snow we got this winter was enormous, it will take literally until may to properly melt.. So it's still icy and loads of snow although the temperature is not that low anymore. It's even a little more frustrating knowing that it would totally feel spring-like without all the hills of snow.

ReplyDeleteHeidi did some calculations the other day, it's been snow for nearly 5 months! We're all sick of it now..
I hope it melts quickly, it's already started, but going slow.. This Friday it actually started snowing again in the morning, but it melted during the day. Luckily x)
