In British, Australian, New Zealand, Italian, and some Canadian universities, a tutor is often but not always a postgraduate student or a lecturer assigned to conduct a seminar for undergraduate students, often known as a tutorial.

I took these pictures at Safran, a branch of Larvik Learning Center, a combined job-training and tuition for immigrants.

Heidi began the day saying there were not enough pictures from the place, and that it would be the perfect assignment for our Photography out and about group at Verket. So we wen't and worked our magic, I haven't seen the others pictures yet, so I have something to look forward too! We got some pretty pictures, met some beautiful people and ate a delicious lunch with them in their cafeteria. And that day was the first ever time I've been greeted with a "Oh, hi, we've met before haven't we? Oh, no, wait. I've just seen pictures of you on your blog." Haha.

The term house includes many kinds of dwellings ranging from rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes to free standing individual structures.

The streets are covered with a think layer of ice, which is making walking around outside not that easy. But it's been sunny. And it's warm and amazing, and there's no snow on our windows so we see the world ♥ there's light, and I love it, todays pictures are from around our apartment.

I have my weeks planned for a couple of months now (at least two), with a pretty low level of activities, I need to pace myself a bit more firmly than I've been doing so my energy will last a bit longer. I can't really say I like the part of having to plan everything so much when one has an ME diagnosis, but I'm getting better at it. And it always helps. A bit at least.

Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral that is a hydrous phosphate of copper and aluminium, with the chemical formula CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8·4H2O.

I haven't painted in so, so long now ! I haven't even gotten around to pick up my easel, paints and brushes, they're still at my mom's place.
This is a blue/turquoise (well, maybe more blue than turquoise) paint they have at Verket's painting workshop, maybe I'll join in there soon. I do miss painting ♥

Monday and first day at Verket in 2011. Verket Fritid (directly translated to Work Free-time ) is a cafè and activity-center that offers a wide and varied assortment of activities both cultural and physical, with the possibility of job training and / or volunteer positions. Even though I'm sick (I have ME or CFS as it's sometimes called) I'm lucky enough to have a great place like Verket to go to every day.

Coffee, a bowl of good soup, pleasant company, candles, vintage furniture and newspaper reading were all part of the day. I tried getting some work done at Heidi's computer whilst I was there, but I didn't get much done. The calender needs pictures and there's also a calender for the new evening activities for teens that Erika mentioned. And Cecilie asked me about a brochure that I already gave her some photos to use for the cover (I don't know if they could use any of them yet), she said they needed some pictures inside it also, but she didn't really get into any detail. I'll have to ask her about it some more tomorrow.

Birthdays are celebrated in numerous cultures, often with a gift, party or rite of passage.

Today was A's birthday ♥
I went out and bought balloons and cake with my mom, we also ate a lovely lunch at Majas Bakeri, and seeing how a lot of snow has now melted (yey) walking in the streets wasn't such a pain anymore. Well home I knocked on a friends door for balloon aid, and he was glad to help. I think we spent an hour or so blowing up balloons.
Since it's a Wednesday, and A has work tomorrow, we'e not going out or anything, we'll do a birthday party Saturday! But I think A had a great day regardless of the no party arrangement, we ate some cake with family and my balloon helper is coming over for a movie later. I'm completely spent though, so I'll just huddle up with a book, a cuddly cat and then I'll probably just fall asleep (hehe, I'm so much fun).

I never did make any wish-lists before Christmas this year. How odd is that!?
Oh well, I couldn't really think of anything that I both needed and wanted, but then again needing shouldn't really be necessary when thinking of gifts. But this year it's seemed important cus' we don't really have a lot of storage in our apartment, so anything I don't need is just clutter!

Regardless, I would happily have found some room for this, I can't ever have enough dresses!

Winter is the coldest season of the year in temperate climate, between autumn and spring.

I've had quite enough of snow by now, last night at least 50cm more fell! We can't even open our windows anymore because of all the snow, and it's impossible to walk out in the streets cus there's snow everywhere.

The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January, continuing the practice of the Roman calendar.

The 3. of January and I remember that I've completely forgot to post my New-Years eve outfit! Amazing. I had planned to post it the 1. but I got up real late and I was so, so tired from the last party of 2010 (and also the first of 2011, nifty!), then on the 2. I just plain forgot it, me and A went for a walk on Ølbergholmen and I took my first pictures in brand new year. And now it's the 3.
This year I didn't get any pictures of fireworks, in fact I didn't get that many pictures at new years eve at all, I just brought my little toy-camera for a few snapshots that will be fun to look at for years to come. So instead I thought I'd share a few bokeh pictures I took at mine and A's walk yesterday.
